Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This page explains what information mallorylorenes.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we record visits to find and fix problems with the site, we don’t use cookies, and recordings are kept for 30 days, with one exception explained below.
Who we are
Mallory Lorene’s is a cottage bakery in Weatherford, Texas, and runs this website. For any question about this policy, call us at (682) 333-4437, or send a message on Facebook or Instagram.
What we collect
This website has no forms and no accounts, so it never asks you to type in your name, email or address. What it does collect:
- Session recordings and usage data. We use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors use the site: clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement and how each page looks as it loads, along with your device type, browser, operating system, screen size and approximate location (country or region). Clarity also logs page errors, which is how we find what’s broken.
- Server logs. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages record basic request details, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit.
When you place an order
Orders happen by phone or through Facebook or Instagram messages, not through this website. When you order, we use your name, contact details, order details and, for delivery, your address, only to bake, deliver and follow up on that order.
How we use it
- Session recordings are used only to find and fix bugs, broken layouts and anything confusing on the site.
- Order details are used only to fill your order.
We don’t sell your personal information, we don’t share it for advertising, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions about you.
Cookies
This site doesn’t use cookies. Microsoft Clarity is set up with cookies turned off, so it gives every page view its own ID instead of following you from page to page or visit to visit.
Clarity doesn’t respond to browser “Do Not Track” settings. If you’d rather not be recorded, a browser content blocker that blocks clarity.ms will stop it.
Who else handles your data
- Microsoft Clarity collects and stores the session recordings. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps its server logs. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
- Google Fonts supplies the site’s typefaces, so Google receives your IP address when the fonts load. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Meta handles any message you send us on Facebook or Instagram. See Meta’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
- Session recordings: 30 days from the day they’re recorded. The one exception is set by Microsoft, not by us: Clarity keeps recordings marked as favorites, and a random sample of recordings, for up to 9 months.
- Server logs: kept by Netlify under its own retention policy.
- Order details: only as long as we need them to finish your order and keep basic business records.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what order information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Call or message us and we’ll respond within 45 days.
Session recordings work differently. They carry no name, no cookie and no lasting ID, so we can’t tell which recordings are yours, and Clarity doesn’t let us delete individual recordings. They expire on the schedule above.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Where data is processed
We’re based in Texas. Microsoft, Netlify and Google process data in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site collects or uses information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
